A holiday email could bring joy to the world, or at least a few clicks to your site

The simplest strategy you could implement right away is a happy holidays email blasted out to your database.

If you’ve left things to the last minute (but let’s hope that isn’t the case, marketers) then it’s also a great email to create, as it won’t take too much time to build.

The elements are usually pretty simple and include only a few areas, like a thank you to customers, some kind of offer or special (if applicable), and some fun holiday puns.

It’s a great way to spread positivity, warmth, and good wishes to your customers, while also reminding them of your brand and a great offer.

Speaking of puns, we’re big fans of them here at stensul.

It’s the most punderful time of the year so it’s time to get brainstorming.

Whether it’s American Eagle Outfitters and their “Yule Love This” message or any of the below ideas, a good pun could bring a smile to your subscribers’ faces:

  • Make it rein
  • Yule be sorry
  • All the jingle ladies, all the jingle ladies
  • Your presents is requested
  • Up to snow good
  • As it snow happens

Deck the halls with some gamification

If you’ve got time to squeeze in some interactivity into your happy holidays email then consider using some gamification elements.

It could be a few simple graphics that catch the eye of a subscriber, a wish list that customers can add to, or a Christmas tree they could decorate.

Whatever you decide to do, do it with silver bells on.

It’s time to go all out, no resting Grinch faces around here.

Just remember, you’re sleigh-in’ it.

Ok, we’ll stop now. But seriously, have a very happy holidays everyone!
