The Most Festive Email Marketing Campaigns Out There
On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… A range of great holiday email marketing examples! Doesn’t have the same ring to it, does it?
Happy holidays everyone!
For those still in the office, we’ve compiled some great email marketing examples to inspire you this holiday season. There’s still time to send a few festive blasts out!
Before you open all the presents and eat all the baked goods, check out the examples below.
Hinge is bringing joy to the world, or at least a date for the weekend
After its successful rebrand and growth, Hinge sent a holiday email out to its members talking about how thankful it was.
It urged members to “stop swiping” this holiday season, and “start a new relationship with Hinge.”
It’s clever messaging, as it differentiates Hinge from its app counterparts, while tapping into our fear of the endless questions from family about when we’re going to find someone.
BarkPost is coming out with silver bells on
BarkPost celebrated Thanksgiving with some dog-centric gifs, holiday survival tips, feeding tips when it comes to leftovers, and some cute dogs up for adoption.
It’s a great example of tying your brand and offering to traditional holiday messaging, and making it your own in a fun, adorable way.
Email Monks is letting it snow
Email Monks decided to get into the spirit of the season with some cool animation for their holiday messaging.
By using CSS keyframe animation and GIF animation, the email became a Christmas treat with falling snow, twirling and flashing stars, and spinning snowflakes.
There was even a little Santa Claus walking across the bottom, with his requisite present sack flung over his shoulder.
Neiman Marcus is rolling out those 12 drummers drumming
Always leave your gift giving to the last minute?
Neiman Marcus targeted this audience with an email offering last-minute gifts through their GiftNow sales initiative.
It’s an interesting idea as it lets gift givers send recipients an email with the gift, which the recipient can then customize by picking the size and color they want before it ships.
While it removes the magic of opening presents on Christmas Day, it does offer the perfect solution for interstate family members.
Keeping your customers and their needs front of mind when crafting any email campaigns (or product offerings) is a good rule of thumb for any season.
Have a great holiday break and we hope to see you back on the stensul blog in the new year!
