The challenge

The company’s account-based platform was trusted by some of the world’s largest enterprises — Infor, Juniper Networks, SAP, and ServiceNow among them. But behind the scenes, the marketing team’s own email process told a different story.

Every email was built individually inside their MAP, without templates, and without consistent branding. The two in-house marketers would conceptualize an email and hand off to two outsourced HTML consultants to produce it — a back-and-forth process full of test sends, rendering fixes, and rework. A single email routinely took 20 hours or more. It wasn’t unusual for one email to take a full month from concept to deployment. On a good run, they sent two.
