# Run a quality check before send

> Ask your assistant for Stensul's accessibility and brand checks, fix what it can, and get a plain-language list of what's left.

## Prompt

```text
Run Stensul's accessibility and quality check on "<email name>".
Fix anything you can fix within the email's rules, such as missing alt text,
then run the check again and give me a short list of what still needs a person.
```

## What the assistant does

1. Runs `stensul-run-quality-check`. Each issue comes back with a message, a rule, and a location such as "the 2nd image in the 3rd module".
2. Fixes what it can: alt text after looking at each image, link text that doesn't say where it goes, a missing main heading where the module allows it.
3. Runs the check again and reports what's left.

## What to know

- **Same engine as the editor.** The checks are the ones Stensul runs in its builder, against the rendered email HTML.
- **Mandatory rules block completion.** If an admin made a rule mandatory for the library, the draft can't be completed in Stensul until it passes.
- **Some fixes are admin-only.** A problem baked into a locked module, such as a low-contrast locked footer, has to be fixed in the module by an admin.
- **A clean check isn't a WCAG certification.** Review the email yourself, including on mobile, before you send.
